Ebony Hollywood is a celebrity video and picture archive that focuses exclusively on the world's hottest black celebrities! Pop stars, actresses, models and TV stars of the very hottest and most famous calibre are here for you to check out. You may even find the occasional video or photo set that they really wish they hadn't done in the first place! There's also access to 10 other hot celebrity sites with your membership here....

They have changed the layout of this network since I last visited and, to be honest, I preferred the old layout. This one doesn't contain as much information with thumbnails plus the ads here seem to be a hell of a lot more visible than they were before. The basic navigation is still quite good, however, and there is still some good update information here as well as some excellent tagging. The celebrities index, however, covers the whole network rather than just this site and that might make things tricky at times.

The videos here come with very basic viewing options - one download and one streaming option, but the video resolution and quality varied across the board. Download speeds were pretty good, however. All image galleries are available for ZIP downloading, but it has to be said that the quality of the pictures varied even more than the quality of the videos, so beware!

I think a site like EbonyHollywood.com works best when it has a steady flow of videos and picture sets, but with no videos having been added for over 7 months, you are left with a site that has to work that much harder on the picture front. In fairness to the site, they are adding a lot of picture sets on a weekly basis and it should be a more than satisfactory selection of content they're adding.

It's difficult to know how many actual celebrities they cover on this site due to the way the content here is indexed but it did seem as though most of the recent updates contained Mariah Carey. So if you don't like Mariah then you might be annoyed! That said, if you're just looking for a really comprehensive celebrity site package, this site is just one slice of a sizeable network.

Conclusion

I think that maybe the lack of video updates on Ebony Hollywood.com might put many people off, but it also has to be said that there is a lot of good stuff here that you will like. The regular updates and undoubtedly formidable selection of pictures sets is especially attractive, but perhaps not as attractive as the access to the rest of the Gossip Members sites. That's certainly why I would sign up!
